CAT 2024 Answer Key Download: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has released an important notice related to the Common Admission Test (CAT) answer key today on November 29. The institute has announced the date of release of the answer key. According to the latest notice, the answer key of this CAT exam will be released on December 3, 2024. The answer key will be uploaded on the official website iimcat.ac.in on the coming Tuesday.

The notification states that the objection window for contesting it will open concurrently with the answer key’s publication. From 6 p.m. on December 3, 2024, until 11:55 p.m. on December 5, candidates will have the opportunity to contest the answer key. By spending Rs 1,200 for each contested question, candidates would be allowed to dispute to the provisional answers.
Exam centers located in around 170 exam cities administered the test. The official website states that IIM has implemented cellphone jammers at specific areas as part of its extra security measures.
When will the outcome be made public?
Following the distribution of the answer key, the subject matter experts will review the candidates’ objections and, if necessary, make the necessary changes before releasing the final answer key. The final answer key will be used to prepare and announce the outcome. It is anticipated that the results would be made public around the second week of January 2025.
