HMPV Virus in India: Four years after Covid-19 wreaked havoc across the world, another virus has once again shaken China. This virus has created a furore in China and now this virus has started spreading in India as well.

The Awadh Times, New Delhi: Yes, the name of this virus is HMPV virus and the first patient of this virus found in India has created a stir, for this the Government of India has also become alert about this virus.

The government has also issued an advisory regarding HMPV virus, the government has given instructions to closely monitor the symptoms and cases of influenza.

HMPV Virus in India: Let us tell you that HMPV i.e. Human Meta Pneumo Virus has knocked in India, it is reported that the first patient of HM PV has been found in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka.

An eight-month-old child was admitted to the hospital after fever, the hospital lab tested in which HM PV virus was confirmed, the Karnataka Health Department has informed the central government about this.

Recently, advisories have been issued in many states including Delhi and Maharashtra regarding this. There were reports of increasing cases of HM PV in China, after which this is the first case in India. Let us tell you that this virus is known as HM PV.

HMPV Virus in India: It is a type of common virus that can spread in people of all ages. This virus is likely to have more effect on the elderly and small children. If you come in contact with a person infected with the virus, then you can also get infected with this virus.

Some of its common symptoms are: runny nose, sore throat, headache, fatigue, cough, fever or chills, so it has also been asked to be careful about it. And some important things also have to be taken care of like it is better to stay away from any infected person or use a mask, wash your hands regularly with soap, cover your mouth while sneezing or coughing.

Cough by covering your elbow away from others and most importantly, sanitize your hands after sneezing or coughing.

It is obvious that the outbreak of Human Meta Pneumo Virus i.e. HMPV is increasing in China. This virus is spreading very fast. It is being said to be more dangerous than corona. In view of its increasing outbreak, emergency has been declared in many states of China.

The situation has worsened in many areas of China. The era of masks has returned in China. There have been thousands of people suffering from the effects of the illness. The infection is spreading rapidly among the elderly and children.
