The Awadh Times, Education: The Prime Minister Internship Scheme is trying to overcome the problem of unemployment by giving internship opportunities to the students of the country. Recently it has been reported that more than 80 percent of the industries of India are in support of Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme 2024, and they are making a lot of efforts to link their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives with this scheme.

Today we are going to give you information about this scheme, how you can take advantage of this scheme and how much salary you will get.

Who can apply to PM Internship:

Candidates applying for this internship scheme must have passed their 10th or 12th. Along with this, they should have ITI certificate, polytechnic diploma or degrees like BA, BSc, B.Com, BCA, BBA, or B.Pharma.

Candidates enrolled in online or distance education programs can also apply in this scheme. Candidates just have to keep in mind that their age should be between 21 to 24 years by the last date of application.

Who cannot apply to PM Internship:

Graduates from major institutes like IIT or IIM and students of professional courses like CA cannot apply for Pradhan Mantri Internship Yojana. Apart from this, people who are doing full time jobs also cannot take advantage of this scheme.

On the other hand, if your family’s annual income is more than Rs 8 lakh or someone in your family is in government service, then also you cannot join this scheme.

How much salary will be received in PM Internship:

In this internship program, applicants will be given a stipend of ₹ 5,000 per month for 12 months. In this, the company will give ₹500 from its CSR funding and the government will contribute ₹4,500.

Apart from this, students will also get one-time financial assistance of ₹6,000 for incidental expenses and through initiatives like Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, the government will ensure the insurance of the interns, whose premium amount will be borne by the government.
